Knife Hand Strike: This is the first unique strike of the Go-Ippan Kunite Kata set. The right hand forms a straight edge with the thumb tucked in and the knuckles straight. While low, the hand comes back and up in a circular motion. When the hand comes down, the target is the collar bone of the opponent and is struck with the edge of the hand opposite the thumb. |
