Yoko Geri

Side Step Kick:
The stance for this is a Kiba Dachi while facing your opponent on one side (Yoko Kiba Dachi). Weight shifts to the leadingin leg and the trailing leg steps in back of and just to the front of the leading leg. The leading leg is then lifted next to the body. The leg snaps out sideways leaving some play in the knee and hits the selected target area with the outside edge of the foot. The foot then returns to the body before stepping down just behind the trailing foot. Weight again shifts to the leading leg, and the trailing leg returns forming the original Yoko Kiba Dachi.
