Empi-Mawashi Gote Dropping Elbo, Small Circle Lock: This begins very similar to Ude Ose Gote. Attacker grabs Katate Tori. Step back with leg corresponding to the hand that is grabbed and capture attacker's grabbing hand with your free hand. Peel hand off towards the attacker's body while stepping up. If elbow does not bend, pull it back with the freed hand. From an outside position and an "S" curve alond the entire length of the attacker's arm (from shoulder to fingers), rotate the hand in towards the attacker's body. Some slight external circular movement added to the centerline circle may be helpful in this situation. |
