The Kata Pattern
Again the individual starts from Heisoku Dachi and bows Ten Chi Kenpo style
giving respect to the teaching that comes from the kata. The step off is to
Kiba Dachi with Morate Gedan Barai.
Quarter turn to the left to left Neko-Ashi Dachi, Yama Nukite Zuki (palms
facing each other, left on top). Slow attention left Haitu Uchi, right
Age Shuto Uke. Turn 180 degrees to right Neko-Ashi Dachi, Yama Nukite
Zuki (palms facing each other, right on top). Slow attention right Haitu
Uchi, left Age Shuto Uke. Left turn to left Sochin Dachi, Gedan Juji Uke.
Kikentana left, step forward to right Sochin Dachi, right Chudan Uke, left
Tate Zuki and Kia.
Kikentana right, kick Yoko Geri left. Step west to left Sochin Dachi, right
Empi Uchi. Pivot with the left foot, Kikentana left, kick Yoko Geri right.
Step east to right Sochin Dachi, Empi Uchi left.
Without pivoting, look NW, right Age Shuto Uke, left Gedan Shuto Uke.
Shift left to a narrow left Zenkutso Dachi (facing NW), left Age Shuto
Uke, right Gedan Haitu Uchi. Clear high Kage-Wage Uke, grab the head,
kick Mae Geri right. Step forward to right Sochin Dachi. Step forward
and behind with the left leg to Kage Dachi, right Chudan Uke, left
Tate-Zuki, Kia.
Turn SE, left Neko-Ashi Dachi, Mawashi Uke. Chudan Teisho Zuki right, left
Mae Geri. Step forward to left Sochin Dachi, punch left, then right Chudan
Seiken Zuki. Turn SW, right Neko-Ashi Dachi, Mawashi Uke. Chudan Teisho
Zuki left, right Mae Geri. Step forward to right Sochin Dachi, punch right,
then left Chudan Seiken Zuki.
Quarter turn facing South, left Neko-Ashi Dachi, right Mawashi Uke, left
Mae Geri. Step forward to right Neko-Ashi Dachi, left Mawashi Uke, right
Mae Geri. Step forward to left Neko-Ashi Dachi, right Mawashi Uke. Step
further forward left to Sochin Dachi, Morate Kumade Uchi and Kia. Pull
the head down to Hitsui Geri right, Kia, step forward to right Sochin
Dachi.
Pivot on the right heal to left Neko-Ashi Dachi facing North, right
Mawashi Uke. Step forward to right Neko-Ashi Dachi, left Mawashi Uke.
Step back and straight right with the right foot to Kiba Dachi, Morate
Gedan Barai. Stand to Heisoku Dachi, bow.
