Ten-Chi Nage
Heaven and Earth Throw: This is arguably one of the most difficult throws in the system. Begin with attacker grabbing Katate Tori Ryote (preferrably rushing low to carry momentum). Pull attacker slightly forward and continue with one side by stepping back very deep and keeping that hand in position with the moving hip. The opponent should be off balance and have momentum forward (relative to their starting position). Twist to Kiba Dachi, then to Heisoku Dachi while cutting (forming a circle with both hands pointed inward) the opponent at the point of Kazushi. If done correctly the opponent will take a back fall with momentum in what was initially their forward direction. |
